The French Immersion Program at Campbell affords advantages to students who continue this program from elementary school.  The Bilingual Mention Certificate that students will receive upon graduation will benefit them on a work résumé or academic CV and provide excellent job opportunities in many national and multinational corporations and organizations in Regina and beyond.  Bilingual education opens doors to learning other languages, offers cultural workshops in theatre, dance, music and creative writing and creates an opportunity for bilingual scholarships.  In addition, it provides enriching out-of-province trips for Grades 9-12 that grant first-hand opportunities to use the second language

Campbell provides a wide range of educational opportunities that will position students well for post-secondary education or entering the work force.  Students are encouraged to set goals, keeping in mind that academics are #1 and extra-curricular activities provide for a well- rounded and enjoyable education experience.

Campbell offers a CAP (Campbell Advisory Program). Connecting with young people is vital to providing a quality education.  This Advisory Group provides opportunities for students to develop a sense of belonging and a personal connection to our school.  The advisors meet with these small groups each day and provide support and guidance to students throughout their high school years.

Extra-curricular Activities:

Campbell Collegiate offers a variety of extra-curricular activities.   There is a well-rounded Athletic program in which the school regularly competes for the city and provincial title in all sports, and outstanding Fine Arts program which is recognised nationally, and high interest groups such as Debate, S.A.D.D., Social Justice, Photography and much more!  There are opportunities for every student to get involved in their area of interest and as stated in Campbell’s handbook, “Participate, Participate, Participate” is supported and encouraged.

Welcoming Grade 9 Students:

Campbell welcomes grade 8 students to a “Day in the Life” opportunity in the spring before they come to Campbell.  The Open House also available in spring has valuable information about the school.

SCC:

The Campbell Collegiate Community Council (CCCC) meets five times per year and welcomes parents, guardians and community members to be a part of decisions that support students and their learning.

SRC:

Campbell Collegiate has an energetic SRC that creates positive school spirit through their many activities and spirited plans throughout the year.

Facility and History:

Campbell’s facility has many attractive features.  Among these is a fabulous Fitness Center.   Campbell is currently undergoing upgrades to better serve students.

Campbell Collegiate was opened in 1963 and named for Mr. John Esson “Shorty Campbell (1886-1973).  His lengthy career as an educator included 34 years as a teacher and principal at Regina's Central Collegiate (1912‑46).

Partnership with Campus Regina:

Campus Regina Public provides high school students (Grades 11 and 12) from across the division the opportunity to enroll in specialty two credit courses.  Each course is industry supported and features approved training that may not be available in their home school.  Students will engage in learning opportunities with others who share their passion for a specialty field of study which better supports their learning as they prepare for the transition to post-secondary studies and the workplace.  This opportunity is open to all high schools in Regina Public Schools.
