High School Registration Centre
Regina Public Schools accepts high school students continuously throughout the school year. It is important for school staff to access current information to best meet the needs of all students. Therefore, it is necessary to create a consistent and effective transition plan for students.
Students graduating from a Regina Public Schools elementary school can apply directly to their local high school. Read about the high school strategy here.
For all other incoming high school students, the Regina Public Schools High School Registration Centre is designed to assist all high school and incoming students who meet the following criteria to ensure that they receive appropriate programming and course selection:
For students in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 who:
- do not qualify for the Newcomer Welcome Centre, or
- last attended a school that was not a Regina Public school, or
- have been out of school for one semester or longer, or
- are registering with a social worker or community public safety worker
Students arriving from another province and registering in grade 11 or 12 will require a transcript. The High School Registration Center can help with attaining a transcript, but it would speed up the registration process if students have their transcripts with them.
For more information, please contact your local Regina Public high school, or contact the RPS High School Registration Centre. You will be directed to book an appointment with the RPS High School Registration Centre to process and facilitate their application to attend a Regina Public high school.
