Arcola Architectural Design Wins Award

Green is the Colour!

Arcola Community School was recently recognized with the top award for green architecture at the inaugural Building Saskatchewan Green Awards. These awards celebrate the outstanding design and execution of sustainable architecture and engineering in Saskatchewan. This award in particular recognizes Regina Public Schools as one of the leading champions for sustainable building in the province. Many congratulations are due to all involved with the project; including staff, students and teachers engaged in the planning and design of this remarkable school.

The Award for Green Architecture Recognizes the project that best exemplifies excellence in architectural design and that demonstrates innovative and integrative approaches to sustainability. Entries may represent any category of building: commercial, institutional, multi-family or single-family residential. Projects must have been completed within the last 5 years to be eligible for consideration.

The Award was presented at the 11th Annual Building Saskatchewan Green Conference on November 13, 2014 in Saskatoon.

The award was accepted by representatives of P3A, the architects of Arcola Community School. Congratulations to P3A and to all at Arcola Community School!
